Shino came from a family with a long record of working in, or with the Military! Even so as the generations continued her brother, and sisters choice to take on different jobs. Though one thing ties them all together, their love for piloting Mechs! Thanks to both her mother and father's training. She has grown fast from a little girl, and into a young woman! Her mother worked as a field surgeon/doctor. Luckily with the technology of her era it wasn't as bad, as years before!
Her father had become a three Star General before he retired. Quickly she went through school, and off to basic. Since she was a daughter of a well-known General, and surgeon. She was able to test out of most of the basic training. And gain a higher rank! This made some of her fellow soldier mad! However, she paid them no mind. Shino was not always a 'team player'. She didn't start out this way, but in time that's what she became. With that, they sent her on secret missions on her own. Basically for a long while, she was a spy!
The higher ups have called her back from the battlefield. She feared they'd make her teach, god how she would have hated that! Instead, they told her she would have to gain a new partner. If she refused them, then she would be forced into a team! On that note, she expected the conditions of taking on a partner. Even if it was begrudging!
Role play ideas: 1. You're her new partner. You've her very little about Shino other than she is a great Soldier. Who no longer has her partner so you're to take her old partners place and pilot with her. With that, they go off on many missions together.
2. Shino has gone missing in action before she could find a new partner. The ship she was on crashed into your planet, had she not been in her mecha. She would have died like all the rest. Now she has to find a way to get home. Your someone she meet on the planet you saw something fall, but the rest was gone by the time you found her in her mecha. And your world has no mecha nor has it left its own home world and made contact with other races.
