In this tab, I will explain basic terms that you will need to know if you go off my idea. Along with how the island functions even in olden days. I will talk about the technology you can expect to find. And how my races may differ from your own, or how they may be more similar to some mythology. I'll also explain why the Demon and Vampire's are fighting over humans so much. To the point of causing a hidden war!

 

Terms

The Council- The council oversees the laws, and rules over the island. This is comprised of the leaders from the different Race branches. These Branches are Humanoid, Human, Angles, Demon, Spirts/Shifter, and Beast.

 

Edren- The island created, and formed by the Council. In an efforts to be free from hiding, from the sheep. Slowly over time the races came together, to use their various skills to make the island they now live on. Even as the role play continues, on one side of the island it continues to expand. Slowly and as needed. This island is as diverse as all the contents combined in terms of environment!

 

Guardians- People who watch over each village, town or City. Most of these people are seen as everyday people, but undercover they deal with problems.

 

Mystic Hunters- A group organized to hunt down supernatural, or mythical criminals. This group is comprised of full, or half supernatural beings.

 

Technology

Airship- Ship similar to those on the water, some may use both mediums to move. Power by magic, physical power like an animal running on a wheel, or if all else fails. The wind though it will only work in the water then. Airship may have wing-like adaptations or propellers.

 

Trains- Once more power by animals, or magic. Each train comes with sleeping, dining and sitting compartments. For long travel across the content. Within large cities, train's move the most amount of people.

 

Other means of transporting- If people don't wish to take either like most of the world. People use carriages pulled by a verity of creatures. Or just ride on them be it the normal one like Equines, or something eles. 

 

Race Branches

Demons- Anything that comes from hell. Or once lived in hell. One exception of the top of my head are Ghouls. Which are not mindless nor do they follow orders from a vampire. These being look humanoid, but they consume human flesh. Leader: Varies sometimes Ghoul other times other beings.

 

Angles- Any being Angelic or that once servers a god/goddess. That does not rule over the dead, underworld or darkness. Such as Seraphin which have six wings. Valkyries which servers Odin by moving souls, and so on. Leader: Arch Angle, Seraphin or Valkyrie

 

Spirt's and Shifters- People who turn into animals, or other people. People who turn into animals like werewolves, and so on. While Spirts are like the Yukiona, snow women who are spirt's. Leader: Kitsune or warebeasts.

 

Beasts- Which are not Angelic, or Demonic in nature. Such as Dragon, Griffins, and other creatures. Those that can think for themselves, learn and communicate with others. Instead of those that can't. Leader: Varies 

 

Humanoid- Beings who don't fit in the above categories. Such as Vampires, Elves and a some other things. Being that appear mostly humanoid in nature. Leader: Vampier Always.

 

Humans- Just humans even they have to have a seat. Leader: Human.

 

Vadem

The war between Demon, and Vampires. Has been going on almost as long as the islands been around. The reason they hate one another is because of their food source, being humans. Where most Vampires will get more than one use out of a human, most demons get only one! Or at least they choice to only get one. The island only lets a certain amount of humans live on the island. Those that had a child with a supernatural being, and those who hunt the supernatural. 

 

Along with their kin, which if they did not know about the beings now they will. After a human joins the island unlike the other they can't leave. At least not until the world recognizes, and leaves the supernatural races alone. If a human must leave, their memories either have to be erased. Or they must be watched if they're going away for a short time.

 

It's thanks to this small number, the races fight other what little they have. Firstly as food but secondly the Vampier see humans as more than livestock. Where some Demon see most of the Other races as food, or things to be used secretly! This is the reason that Atole won't take a demon, or even a part demon as her partner. As she untrusting of  them. Without knowing them for hundreds of years. Of corse, she doses not show this out in public, as she is the Guardian of the city she lives near.

The city of Kaine has quite a diverse  number of races within its walls. Some part of the island have a more concentrated amount of races in one area. Be it because of the climate, and geography or some other reason! Her city sits in the eastern part of the country. With an amazing sea beside it. With white sandy beaches. Past the beaches are some palm trees, and then into a forest. Where some villages are hidden from none natives. The first places welcoming all which is the city. On the outer edges is farming land, then suburbs, and the main city area. A path through the forest and up the hill. Leads up to her manor, and another two to a verity of places on the island. In the city, trains take most people ever where they need to go. While Airship transports people to different cities, and towns.
